houseedits — Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: September 10, 2026 · Version 1.0 — part of our Terms of Service.
Don't upload content you have no right to upload
You must own or have permission to submit every photograph you send us, including any permission needed from the property owner or from people who appear in it. If copyright belongs to your client, obtain any permission needed for processing and any separately requested training use.
Don't upload illegal or harmful material
No sexually explicit content, no content that sexualises minors, no content that infringes copyright or trademark, no content submitted to facilitate unlawful activity.
Don't misrepresent property
Real estate photography has rules and ethics of its own. Do not ask us to edit images in a way you know would materially misrepresent a property, and do not use our edits to do so. Enhancing an image is normal; fabricating a feature, concealing a defect, or removing something a buyer would need to know about is not. You are responsible for what you deliver to your clients and to an MLS, including any disclosure their rules require.
Don't attack the Service
No attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other customers' accounts, or data that isn't yours. No malware. No deliberate overloading, denial of service, or circumvention of rate limits, quotas, or credit metering. No use of undocumented or internal endpoints.
Don't resell access to the Service itself
You may absolutely resell the edited photographs — that is the point of the product. What you may not do is resell, sublicense, or provide third parties access to the Service itself, or operate it as a white-labelled backend for others, without a written agreement with us. Contact us to discuss an integration.
What we expressly permit
The following are permitted, subject to these policies:
- Evaluating and benchmarking our Service, including against competitors, and publishing accurate results.
- Using paid Edited Images commercially and as references for your work, subject to the Terms, including the review and credit-back conditions.
- Building, working on, or working for a competing product.
We would rather compete on the product than on contract terms.
Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this policy we may remove content, suspend, or terminate access. Where the circumstances allow, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it — we are not looking for reasons to close accounts. Serious cases (illegal content, attacks on the Service) may be acted on immediately and reported to authorities.
